iVits is the online shop of the Ennis Health Store — a family business, and a real shop with real shelves.
Fergal and Helen McNamara opened the first one off the main street in Ennis in 2011. Their daughter Sinéad joined in 2014 and has been the heart of it ever since. The business grew to six shops, and today you will find us in Ennis and Loughrea.
Those shops were never just a place to buy a bottle of something. People come in to ask. The staff are trained, they know the range, and they will tell you when a product is not the one you are after. Fifteen years of that has made the shops a resource for their towns.
Why iVits
A shop called the Ennis Health Store can only ever be Ennis's shop. That is the honest reason iVits exists. Everything those shops have learned since 2011 was only ever available to two towns. iVits is the same shop, open to the whole country.
How we choose what we stock
We do not list everything that exists. The range is curated — the practitioner brands Irish health shops actually stand over: Solgar, Terranova, Optibac, Revive Active, Cleanmarine, Weleda and plenty more.
Before a product goes on our shelves, our staff have had training on it from the supplier. Plenty of it we have tested ourselves. And a good deal of what we carry is there because a customer asked us for it — that is still how the range grows.
Your order
Every order is picked by hand off the same shelves the shops are picked from, packed plastic-free, and sent to you by tracked delivery.
