Refund policy

We want you to be happy with what you ordered. This policy sets out your legal rights under Irish and EU law, and the one exception that applies to food supplements and cosmetics.

Your right to cancel — 14 days

Under the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013 (S.I. No. 484 of 2013), you may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving any reason.

The 14 days run from the day you, or someone you nominate, receive the goods. To cancel, email shop (at) ivits.ie with your order number, or use the model cancellation form at the end of this policy. We will confirm we have received your cancellation.

The hygiene exception — please read

For health and hygiene reasons we cannot accept the return of food, food supplements or cosmetic products once the seal has been broken. This is the exemption in the Regulations for sealed goods that are not suitable for return on health-protection or hygiene grounds.

Unopened, unused items in their original sealed packaging can be returned within the 14-day period.

This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.

Please contact us before you send anything back, so we can tell you exactly what to do. Then post it to:

Include your order number in the parcel, and get a certificate of postage — until the parcel reaches us it is your responsibility.

Return postage

Unless the item is faulty or we sent the wrong thing, you pay the cost of return postage. If the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, we pay — contact us first and we will sort it out.

Refunds

Once we receive your returned item, or proof that you have sent it, we will refund you within 14 days, to the payment method you used. We may reduce the refund if the value of the item has been diminished by handling beyond what is needed to check it.

Faulty or wrong items

If something arrives damaged, faulty or not what you ordered, email us with a photo and your order number. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. We will make it right and cover the postage.

Model cancellation form

You do not have to use this form — an email telling us you are cancelling is enough. We provide it because the Regulations require it to be available.
